Shared Drive Access Issues or general network issues?.......Look no further! Help is here!

For those users who access shared drives, There can be issues along the way accessing shared drives which includes a hidden setting to allow your laptop/pc to trust the network you are (Only if you are at home and not on Public Wifi!)

Let's see how to change your network profile!

1: Open Windows Settings (Cog Icon)

2: Click on Network & Internet

3: Head over to WiFi and click on your wifi name (e.g BT-HJ834, VM0292321, TalkTalk7DBA43)

(The same also goes for Ethernet if you are plugged directly into your modem/router)

4: Ensure that "Connect Automatically when in range is toggled on" and click on Private

*** Connect Automatically will not show when connected via ethernet**
